Overhead - IO Cards and Background Illumination
 I have installed an additional plate in the finished Overhead Frame.
The brown rear side is equipped with the required IO cards. One second USB expansion is connected with two masters cards. Over the two Masters cards I connected four Intput cards and two 7 segments cards. For the lamps, I have used for the Overhead two USB outputs cards. For the Overhead I Can use 144 inputs for switches, 32 7-segments and 128 outputs for the LED's .
On the fore white side, I have stuck on four 50 cm long LED strips for the Background-illumination. All LED strips are connected at 12 volts and uses 2 amperes of stream.

Overhead - Switches
For the quadratic switches in the Overhead, I have used the K1 Switches from Flightdecksolutions. The pictures describe the assembly from over 80 switches. The connections of the counters are modified from me, there I connects the K1 Switches at my Opencockpit boards.

Finally I have found time again to build my Overhead. My panels are from Flightdecksolutions. The overheadframe follows the size of the panels. I have built the panelframe from wood and have reinforced the connections with metal plates. On my panelframe I have installed 4 cm long Spacer. On this spacer I can screw the panels. Within the 4 cm, I can place the individual switches. Behind the panelframe I put a white plate, one side with LED strips for the background illumination and the other side with the OC boards for the switches.
